As Director of Channel Marketing, reporting directly to the Director of Customer Operations, you will drive awareness, generate leads, promote usage within our targeted customer base – and then via marketing materials support the recruitment, enablement and success of our top accounts. With an addressable market of thousands of potential funeral homes and cemeteries, ranging from small businesses to large corporations, you will be tasked with the responsibility of tapping into this industry by creating a marketing-based customer acquisition strategy. We are looking for an aggressive, digital-minded individual who can successfully market the product, generate leads, help increase retention, and sell.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work in a collaborative environment to develop and execute the overall marketing strategy, branding, and messaging for our channel audiences.
  • Support a team responsible for supporting Everdays products; proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain a national account list.
  • Build an inbound marketing funnel, using tools like salesforce, mailchimp, and salesloft. Oversee the implementation of the channel marketing strategy - including email and print campaigns, conferences and events, SEO, SEM, PPC, and industry public relations.
  • Design, test, and deliver a strategy for every touch point in the channel marketing funnel. You will be tasked with creating awareness to potential customers, demonstrating value to new customers and implementing retention lifecycle campaigns to existing customers.
  • You'll develop an affiliate partner program, and strategic relationships with key partners that will contribute to our growth, expand our reach to new audiences, and drive sales.
  • Develop unique media value propositions, marketing partnerships, and action-oriented advertising
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing strategy and tactics and in turn, produce reports of accomplishments and business impact.
  • Develop overall plans, and review campaign performance using internal and external reporting and analytics tools. Distill data into actionable insights which will help drive change and growth
  • Develop a content roadmap for the website, blog, and social media.
  • Serve as the point of contact for channel public relations inquiries.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 8+ years experience in channel marketing -- experience with a startup/early-stage company or with new product launches is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in marketing or business preferred.
  • Experience working on 360 degree marketing campaigns (social, digital, traditional, PR, tech blogs, etc) to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Ability to pitch ideas and messaging to the team internally, as well as media and potential partners externally.
  • Creativity that helps bring new and exciting ideas to product positioning and marketing campaigns.
