As the HR/Accounting Admin you will work with the VP of Business Operations and the Executive Assistant on daily tasks in accounting, human resources and administration.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for the company.
  • Participate in developing and executing on department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Refine our performance evaluation program.
  • Perform benefits administration
  • Responsible for day to day employee relations which includes building and maintaining organizational relationships with all levels of employees. Responsible for providing excellent customer service to the employee base as well as handling employee concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • With our recruiting manager refine and improve our onboarding process
  • Perform a wide range of accounting and clerical functions
  • Enter and insure accuracy of all Accounts Payable
  • Reconcile monthly American Express statements
  • Assist in preparing monthly journal entries, reports, and financials
  • Filing, organization, and data entry
  • Work related errands as requested
  • Special projects as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years Human Resources and Accounting experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable HR laws, regulations and policies.
  • Active listening, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • People oriented and results/solution driven.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exhibits good decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise considerable tact, diplomacy, judgment and confidentiality
