Everdays gives them an easy, pleasant, convenient, digital way to plan ahead - and fund their plans - all in one place.

As Copywriter, reporting to our Director, User Experience, you will be responsible for delivering sound conceptual thinking and copy for a variety of channels including (but not limited to) digital, social and print. You must be versatile, and able to develop results-driven customer communications and web content that is consistent with Everdays brand and strategic business objectives. You will know our brand and customer as well as anyone in the company; knowing what user motivations we need to understand and resonate with, and how to bring that to life while solving our business objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and edit original content for Everdays' website, app, blog, social media, email marketing campaigns, white pages to drive leads and subscribers, and to promote our products/services.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team that bridges both traditional and digital marketing.
  • Amend, revise or redevelop advertisement copy or campaigns in response to feedback.
  • Write strong, simple, compelling, and audience-focused ideas.
  • Ability to balance ideation with brand guidelines and practical industry constraints.
  • Ability to write and edit a variety of successful communications materials.
  • Ability to generate persuasive concepts and content for inbound and outbound marketing efforts.
  • Maintain knowledge of best practices in copywriting and content development.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4-6 years of experience as a copywriter for an agency or in-house position
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Creative Writing, English or related field
  • Have a portfolio of published articles
  • Be able to work under pressure, consistently meet tight deadlines and have an eye for details
  • Be highly creative and imaginative with an effective writing style that is fresh, consistent and consumer friendly
  • Have a knack for editing and proofreading with good research skills
  • Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
