As the Director of Consumer Marketing, reporting directly to the CEO you will lead the company in building the overall marketing strategy, processes, and team to help grow our product adoption from early stage to national penetration. You will need the vision, creativity, and audacity to believe you can change millions of consumers behavior. We will provide you with resources to evangelize the importance of end-of-life planning to our national and proprietary consumer audience, and ability to leverage our platform to sell preneed life insurance online.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Lead marketing creative strategy for Everdays, owning brand identity, creative, messaging, and marketing collateral for both on & off-platform use
  • With internal and unfettered access to an audience of millions of consumers engaging on our national platform; you will utilize messaging and compelling CTA's to promote our brand, drive product adoption, and sell preneed life insurance.
  • Differentiate our brand through best-in-class creative that delivers on both emotional and functional messaging to drive affinity and growth.
  • Lead, hire, and mentor a team of marketing managers, designers and copywriters, engaging freelance and agency resources as needed.
  • Partner with product and our partners to ensure campaigns are executed across all channels, including product, email, social, and off-platform marketing.
  • Implement a data-first approach to marketing, utilizing data to both inform and evaluate creative and messaging, continuously learning and iterating based on performance.
  • Develop the strategic communications and public relations plan.

About You:

Required qualifications and skills:

  • 8+ years years experience developing brand/marketing creative and strategies. Experience at a digital/ecommerce business strongly preferred
  • Experience building and leading high-performance creative and marketing teams
  • Experience in cross-functional organizations, managing design implementation across platforms (experience working on product design a huge plus)
  • 5+ years of experience in running a modern and cross-discipline marketing team.
  • Proven experience in consumer brand/product marketing
