As the Director of eCommerce, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for creating and executing the overall customer journey and digital sales strategy. It will be your duty to move users down the funnel: growing a massive pool of planners, creating engagement campaigns to educate them on how to secure their plans, and guiding them to purchase products on the Everdays platform.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • You will have internal and unfettered access to an audience of millions of consumers engaging on our national platform. You will own our customer journey and create messaging and experiences to drive product adoption and usage, and promote user engagement and re-engagement.
  • Manage the overall eCommerce strategy and achieve targets for direct to consumer operations by implementing strategies and initiatives that will drive traffic, conversion, retention, revenue, and profitability.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert about evolving online media and technology trends, explore new and effective products or enhancements that will improve site experience and generate revenue and profits.
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop strategies to influence the design and function of products to increase customer receptivity and conversion.
  • Develop a firm understanding and organize key performance data, and then utilize Google Analytics, Hotjar and campaign data to measure and analyze marketing ROI, CAC, conversions, and other core performance KPIs to understand consumer behavior and identify growth opportunities, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Partner with the Customer Service team to create customer journeys that reduce friction and increase time to close, satisfaction, retention, and experience sharing.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in eCommerce, multi-channel marketing and/or digital advertising
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment and drive tangible business impact
  • Strong customer obsession, curiosity and self-driven, accept challenges and aim for the highest
